Homemade Chili Pepper Tamari Vinaigrette
Leafy greens are the MVPs of the produce section.
And my favorite out of all of them right now?
(Of course it has the word butter in it, right?)
Deliciously tender leaves...a big dose of both vitamins A and K...you can't go wrong!
Swap out simple carb-loaded tortillas or flatbreads for the large, pliable leaves when making tacos or wraps. Or enjoy an entire head (sometimes they're on the small side) in a giant salad bowl all to yourself! Add in a protein, such as chopped chicken, beans or nuts, and a dressing full of clean fats...and you have yourself a brilliant meal.
My current favorite homemade dressing:
1 part coconut aminos/soy sauce/tamari
1 part rice or red wine vinegar
1 part extra virgin olive oil
1 part pure maple or honey
Dash of red chili pepper flakes
