Hello! I'm Madeline.

As a maternal health practitioner Board Certified in Holistic Nutrition® + an IBCLC, I can help you fix your fertility, achieve better birth outcomes, and thrive through postpartum.

a bit of my story

Full transparency: I was raised on Cocoa Puffs, Nutella sandwiches, and iceberg lettuce, earning me the title Least Judgmental Nutritionist Ever. Thankfully now I'm mostly known for my anti-inflammatory cookbooks and my work as a functional nutritionist focusing on my three favorite seasons of life: preconception, pregnancy, and postpartum.

Now I feel extremely blessed to be able to give tools to couples hoping to get pregnant, as well as mamas who are already pregnant and looking to provide their child with the best possible start to life.

I had my first baby in March of 2017 (you can bookmark that birth story for later here) followed by a wealth of breastfeeding woes, which would eventually lead me to pursue lactation training and ultimately become an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC).

In May 2020 we welcomed our second baby boy into a crazy world (his birth story is here), and our house hasn’t been quiet since.

It’s my life’s passion to support women in reversing infertility and carrying healthy babies to term with the best birth outcomes possible. The female body is far more capable of healing and health than our society gives it credit for — I can help empower you to heal yours.

philosophy

For almost a decade, I’ve worked alongside women, helping them find the freedom of health in their ever-changing bodies — from preconception through postpartum. I believe in intentional, preventative, and empowering wellness for mamas + babies that emphasizes evidence-based approaches. Ever since I began specializing in prenatal and postpartum health, I’ve seen firsthand how optimizing nutrition and nutrient levels leads to better birth outcomes. And I want this life-changing information to be available for every mother.

The food we eat and the way we eat it not only determine the quality of our days—they number them as well. With every client I work with, I promote a customized whole foods diet, full of plants, healthy fats and traditional foods. No gimmicks or quick-fixes.

I have come to see eating as one of the most intimate acts a human can perform. Yet the food choices many of us make are often politically and financially driven. It's my goal to educate others on truly eating for health. Holistic nutrition is a subject matter that never stops giving — there is so much to still be discovered!
